New Industrial Age Forum: Nuclear Power is Crucial for America’s Success

Washington, DC—September 17, 2026: For the American workforce, our national economy, and global competitiveness, America’s journey to full reindustrialization will boost our nation across the economy and into the future. The New Industrial Age Forum, hosted by the New American Industrial Alliance (NAIA) and attended by Earthineering CFO Trey Brundige and Communications Correspondent Blaze Grabowski, explored how America must and will rebuild its industrial base. To do so, new nuclear power will prove critical, as was made clear by panelists throughout the event.

NASA’s Moon Base will drive American reindustrialization and dominance. Responding to a question about excellence at NASA, Administrator Jared Isaacman called for “a whole new generation of space tech.” He remarked that excellence will be measured by “Returning astronauts to the Moon,” and emphasized that time is of the essence by saying, “There is no doubt that China is going to build a Moon base, and they’re going to build it right on the same piece of real estate where we want to build.”

Speakers across the conference urged new energy as imperative to reindustrialization. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) stated, “We must reinvest in nuclear,” while Congressman Josh Harder (D-CA) argued, “You can have 99% of support for local projects, and it can still take decades to build … We have to build more energy.”

The Earthineering Company has long believed in American reindustrialization. NASA’s Moon Base will not only reindustrialize the American economy, but also the lunar surface. With 14-day-long lunar nights and limited oxygen for combustion, the Moon needs nuclear power.

Industrial heat in particular will play an important role on the Moon. Anything that can be produced on or extracted from the Moon is something that does not have to be launched from Earth’s surface for billions of dollars. With industrial heat, our reactor can smelt lunar regolith for multiple uses alongside the Moon base. Finding ways to extract these resources on site turns the Moon base dream into a lunar reality.

At the New Industrial Age Forum, Isaacman noted, “As we build the Moon base, we can put out a demand signal for dozens of industries. Hopefully, there is a lunar economy out there to sustain … Hopefully, a lunar economy follows it up.” Whether on the surface of the Moon or back here on Earth, reindustrialization is crucial to American dominance. Nuclear innovation will provide the energy needed for America’s industrial success.
